BitMEX exchange officially ceased operations at 12:00 UTC+8 on September 23, following its shutdown announcement in July. While user funds remain safe and withdrawal functions are still active, the platform has halted all deposits and warns users not to transfer assets to BitMEX addresses. Users are strongly advised to withdraw remaining balances immediately. Accounts with outstanding funds will incur a monthly maintenance fee for KYC-verified users, charged at an annualized rate of 1% or $50 equivalent, whichever is higher. Login access remains available solely to facilitate withdrawals.
