BitGo's Evernorth wallet has been generating thousands of XRP wallets daily, each funded with the minimum reserve of 1.2225 XRP, resulting in zero balance accounts. This activity, occurring between eight and twelve times per minute, significantly increased XRP Ledger metrics, including AccountSet transactions and new account creations. The behavior, identified by XRPL validator Vet on Nov. 7, persisted until Nov. 11 when the wallet's XRP balance was exhausted. Despite the depletion, failed activation requests continued until 14:29 UTC on Nov. 11. BitGo is investigating the incident but has not yet provided further details.
