Bitdeer Technologies (BTDR) has announced plans to expand its AI data center operations, beginning with a facility in Clarington, Ohio. The Bitcoin mining firm aims to achieve 570 MW of electrical capacity by late 2026. Additionally, Bitdeer plans to convert sites in Norway and Washington to support 164 MW of AI computing by late next year. The company expects to deploy over 200 MW for AI computing by the end of 2025, projecting annualized revenue of over $2 billion in an optimistic scenario. Following the announcement, Bitdeer's shares rose by 30% on Wednesday.
