Bitcoin's illiquid supply has reached a new all-time high, surpassing 14.3 million BTC at the end of August, according to Glassnode data. This marks a net increase of 20,000 BTC in the past 30 days. Currently, 72% of the 19.9 million BTC in circulation is considered illiquid, held by long-term holders and cold storage investors. Despite recent market volatility, including a 15% price retracement from a mid-August high of $124,000, the illiquid supply continues to grow, indicating strong holder confidence.
