Nectar Group, developer of the Bitcoin yield platform HoneyB, has completed a $5 million seed round at a $30 million post-money valuation. The funding closed in early Q3 2026 with participation from Portal Ventures, Peer Venture Partners, and Anchorage Digital Ventures.
HoneyB plans to launch services for institutional clients outside the United States in Q4 2026, followed by retail user access in Q1 2027. The platform's core strategy involves collateralizing Bitcoin to borrow stablecoins, then deploying yield-generating strategies targeting annualized returns of 2% to 4% after deducting borrowing costs and fees.
