Bitcoin whales have transferred over 10,450 BTC, valued at more than $700 million, to major exchanges like Coinbase Institutional and FalconX. This activity comes as Bitcoin's price hovers near $80,000, with whales appearing to take profits following a recent rally. The transactions, which included deposits ranging from $123 million to $174.6 million, suggest strategic portfolio rebalancing by large holders. In addition to the influx into exchanges, approximately $103 million worth of Bitcoin was withdrawn to unidentified wallets, indicating some whales are still making significant purchases. However, the overall trend points to increased selling activity, as large holders capitalize on recent price gains. This heightened whale activity could signal potential volatility in Bitcoin's price movements in the near term.
