Bitcoin’s weekly realized market cap rose by more than $4.6 billion over the past week, signaling fresh capital inflows that are helping support the current price advance, according to CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost. The move marks a clear reversal after a prolonged period of decline in realized market cap.
Darkfost said the increase may also reflect capitulation from investors who bought at higher prices and later sold, creating new UTXOs at lower realized prices. Even so, Bitcoin demand has outpaced that selling pressure. He added that while this is the strongest weekly increase since the bear market began, the overall scale remains moderate, with the 30-day average rate of change at 0.4%, meaning the trend still requires further confirmation.
