Bitcoin Policy Institute has appointed Conner Brown, formerly an advisor in Senator Cynthia Lummis’ office, as its new Executive Director as the organization expands its leadership team. Antonin “AJ” Scalia will become Head of Operations, Andrew M. Bailey will serve as Senior Director of Education, and Matthew Burtell will take the role of Director of Special Projects. Former Executive Director Grant McCarty will transition to Senior Advisor and attend the University of Pennsylvania Law School, while Senior Fellow William J. Luther will become a Senior Economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisers. BPI said the changes are aimed at supporting its next phase of growth in Bitcoin and emerging technology policy research and education.
