Bitcoin has drawn $732 billion in new capital during its current market cycle from 2022 to 2025, surpassing the combined total of all previous cycles, according to Glassnode data. This cycle's inflows significantly exceed those of past cycles, which saw $4.4 billion (2011–2015), $86 billion (2015–2018), and $388 billion (2018–2022). The surge is driven by institutional adoption and the availability of regulated investment vehicles like Bitcoin ETFs. The realized capitalization of Bitcoin has reached a record $1.1 trillion, with monthly inflows peaking over $100 billion. Despite a decline in daily active entities from 240,000 to 170,000, Bitcoin's network processed $6.9 trillion in total volume over the last 90 days, outperforming major payment processors such as Visa and Mastercard.
