Bitcoin's market capitalization has plummeted by $1.2 trillion over the past five months, contributing to a total global cryptocurrency market loss of $2.02 trillion since October 2025. This decline represents 59% of the total market losses. Despite the downturn, Michael Saylor, chairman of Strategy and a prominent Bitcoin advocate, remains optimistic about Bitcoin's future, expressing that he has "never been so bullish on Bitcoin." Saylor's firm is currently facing $7.2 billion in unrealized losses due to the market crash.
