Japanese crypto exchange Bitbank has partnered with Epos Card, a subsidiary of Marui Group, to introduce the EPOS CRYPTO card. This Visa-based credit card allows users to pay their monthly bills using Bitcoin from their Bitbank accounts. The card offers free annual fees and cashback options in cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, and ASTR. Upon repayment, Bitcoin is automatically sold at platform prices and converted to yen. This marks Japan's first credit card enabling direct payments from a crypto exchange account, though users should be aware of potential tax implications from Bitcoin sales.
