Bhutan has sold another $6.7 million in Bitcoin, marking the continuation of its weekly sales over the past three weeks, according to Arkham. This follows a significant sale of at least $100 million in Bitcoin in September. Despite these sales, identified wallets still hold approximately $372 million in Bitcoin.
Bhutan had initially planned to generate up to 600MW of mining power in collaboration with Bitdeer Technologies. However, on-chain data indicates a slowdown in mining activities since the Bitcoin halving in April 2024. The ongoing sales suggest a strategic adjustment in Bhutan's approach to its Bitcoin holdings.
