Belarus has implemented stricter cryptocurrency regulations as President Lukashenko signed a decree prohibiting individuals from buying or selling digital assets through foreign exchanges or brokers. The new rules mandate that all crypto trading must occur on platforms regulated within Belarus. This policy specifically targets residents of the High Technology Park (HTP), affecting both individuals and entrepreneurs. Currently, only entities registered with the HTP are permitted to operate licensed crypto exchanges in the country.
