Digital artist Beeple has launched a series of celebrity-themed robot dogs at the Miami Beach Basel Art Show. The installations feature flesh-colored robot dogs with silicone masks resembling figures such as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. Each of the seven pieces was sold for $100,000 to private collectors. The artworks continuously capture images and record them on the blockchain, offering a reinterpretation of the world through the eyes of these public figures. Beeple clarified that the work is not intended to mock the celebrities.
Beeple, known for his groundbreaking NFT sale of 'Everydays: The First 5000 Days' for $69.346 million at Christie's in 2021, continues to push the boundaries of digital art with this latest project.
