BC Card, South Korea's leading payment infrastructure provider, has partnered with Base to launch a pilot program for USDC-based payments in Korea. The initiative aims to integrate Coinbase's Base chain wallet with BC Card's QR payment system. This pilot will test the use of USDC for merchant payments in Korea, with final settlements in Korean won, to assess compliance, interoperability, and practical feasibility.
