Marc Syz and Richard Byworth have left Syz Capital following a board decision to halt their Bitcoin treasury project, deemed too risky. The pair, along with Blockstream CEO Adam Back, have since founded Future Holdings AG, aiming to establish a publicly listed Bitcoin treasury vehicle in Switzerland. The new entity plans a listing on the SIX Swiss Exchange and has already secured USD 35 million in funding. Future Holdings AG was acquired by Sweden's H100 Group in February 2026 through a share swap valued at SEK 6.9 million. The acquisition positions H100 to hold approximately 3,500 BTC, making it one of Europe's largest Bitcoin holders. The move comes amid broader tensions in Swiss private banking over crypto strategies, with Syz Group emphasizing continuity in alternative investments under new leadership.
