Backpack has appointed Mark Wetjen as President of Backpack US, tasking him with spearheading the company's expansion efforts in the United States. Wetjen brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as a commissioner and acting chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). He also held the position of Head of Global Public Policy at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).
