Babylon Labs has announced a partnership with hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger to integrate native Ledger signature support for its Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (BTCVaults). This integration allows users to confirm BTCVault transactions directly using Ledger devices with Clear Signing, enabling the use of native Bitcoin as DeFi collateral while maintaining self-custody. The solution eliminates the need for custodians, cross-chain bridges, or wrapped assets. Babylon aims to facilitate Bitcoin's participation in decentralized finance applications without leaving the Bitcoin network.
