The foundation clarified that Aztec Connect is not linked to the smart contracts of the AZTEC ERC20 token or the current Aztec network. Aztec Labs no longer has control over the system and cannot perform any suspensions or upgrades. Reports indicate that Aztec Router contracts were suspected of being attacked, resulting in the transfer of approximately $2.19 million in assets.
