BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes advised Bitcoin investors to remain patient and not be swayed by the recent highs in stocks and gold. In an interview with Kyle Chasse, Hayes emphasized that short-term trading with a mindset of quick profits, such as buying to afford luxury items, often leads to financial losses. He highlighted that long-term holders are the true winners in the crypto space. Hayes pointed out that while the S&P 500 has risen in dollar terms, it has not reached its 2008 levels when measured against gold. Real estate fares even worse when compared to gold, with only some U.S. tech stocks showing decent performance. He argued that when assets are measured against Bitcoin, their value discrepancies become apparent, underscoring Bitcoin's long-term advantage.
