Armenia will extend the license period for cash-based cryptocurrency transactions until July 2026, following government approval of amendments to the Crypto Assets Law. These amendments, pending parliamentary review, allow companies to continue cash transactions under specific conditions. Each transaction must not exceed 300,000 drams (approximately $780), and sellers are required to verify customer identities and maintain transaction records. The central bank retains the authority to audit compliance at any time.
