Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, has increased its investment in Coinbase by purchasing 41,453 shares valued at approximately $6.9 million. The acquisition was made through three of Ark's ETFs: ARKK acquired 29,689 shares worth $4.9 million, ARKW purchased 7,525 shares for $1.2 million, and ARKF added 4,239 shares at $704,000. This move reverses a previous reduction in Coinbase holdings earlier this month.
As of February 18, Coinbase is a significant holding across Ark's funds. It ranks as the seventh largest holding in the ARKK Fund, making up 4% of the portfolio, valued at around $251.5 million. In the ARKW Fund, it is also the seventh largest, comprising 3.7% of the portfolio, approximately $57.4 million. Meanwhile, in the ARKF Fund, Coinbase is the third largest holding, accounting for 5.6% of the portfolio, valued at about $44.6 million.
