Architect Financial Technologies, led by former FTX US President Brett Harrison, has successfully raised $35 million in a Series A funding round. The funding, which values the company at $187 million, will support the development of AX, a centralized futures exchange focused on traditional assets such as forex and metals. The investment round was spearheaded by Miax and Tioga Capital, with additional backing from ARK Invest, Galaxy Ventures, and Coinbase Ventures. Harrison, who departed FTX US prior to its collapse, aims to leverage his experience from Jane Street and FTX US to build robust exchange infrastructure.
