Gerstein Harrow LLP has issued a legal order to Arbitrum DAO to seize approximately 30,766 ETH (around $71 million) frozen funds linked to the Lazarus Group hackers. This move aims to enforce a 2015 judgment related to North Korea, potentially complicating Arbitrum's existing plans to return the funds to victims of the Kelp attack. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT criticized the law firm's actions as predatory, accusing them of exploiting on-chain security efforts to claim funds intended for crypto project victims under the guise of an unrelated historical case.
