Apyx has postponed the APYX governance token generation event originally scheduled for October 13, with no new date confirmed. The delay follows a significant drawdown in STRC that exposed unanticipated volatility issues in digital credit assets, prompting further refinement of the core protocol despite normal NAV disclosure and minting operations.
The project is expanding its scope from digital credit to a broader RWA platform after traditional credit institutions expressed interest in onboarding assets through its infrastructure. Apyx aims to complete the V1 platform and enhance apxUSD and apyUSD stability before rescheduling the TGE. Consequently, the Season 2 airdrop allocation has been increased from 6% to 9%, with points accumulation continuing under existing rules until a new end date is announced alongside the revised TGE schedule. Token allocations for both seasons remain set for full unlock at launch.
