Apple announced its first batch of Apple Intelligence features will open for testing in China on November 4 via the latest iOS developer beta, with official rollout to Chinese users coming alongside iOS 27.3 in December. The initial feature set includes Live Translation, Writing Tools, Visual Intelligence, the Clean Up photo tool, and Genmoji.
Under a new partnership with Alibaba, Chinese users will access Qwen directly through Siri, Writing Tools, and Visual Intelligence. Supported devices include iPhone 16 and later, the iPhone 15 Pro series, and iPhone Air. The update does not include next-generation Apple Intelligence features such as Siri AI, which were announced at WWDC 2026.
