Anthropic has reportedly received investment offers valuing the company at over $90 billion, surpassing OpenAI for the first time, according to sources cited by The Wall Street Journal. This valuation doubles Anthropic's previous worth and comes as the company's revenue run rate is projected to hit $50 billion by the end of next month, up from $30 billion in April. In contrast, OpenAI was valued at $85 billion earlier this year, with a monthly revenue of $2 billion, translating to an annualized run rate of $24 billion. However, the revenue figures of the two companies are not directly comparable due to differences in accounting for sales through cloud service partners.
