Anthropic is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire Stainless, a developer tools company, for over $300 million. Stainless, known for converting complex APIs into SDKs, counts OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic among its clients. This acquisition would give Anthropic control over a key channel used by competitors to access models. Stainless, founded four years ago, has raised $35 million and was valued at $150 million in December 2024. The deal, if finalized, would mark Anthropic's fourth acquisition in six months.
