Anthropic will support the UK Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) 'Super Sandbox' initiative by providing access to its Claude AI products for the second batch of participating enterprises. This batch includes 21 institutions such as Scottish Widows and TrueLayer, selected from 199 applications—a 51% increase from the first batch. The projects will focus on AI solutions for payment security, fraud detection, governance, financial inclusion, and compliance automation. Additionally, the FCA has launched the 'Agentic Academy', a 10-week AI training program in collaboration with the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship.
