Anthropic has significantly expanded its Project Glasswing cybersecurity initiative, increasing its partner organizations from around 50 to approximately 200. This expansion includes 150 new partners across more than 15 countries, focusing on critical infrastructure and key open-source software maintainers in sectors such as power, water, healthcare, communications, and hardware. All partners are required to meet stringent security standards to access the Claude Mythos Preview for vulnerability scanning. The company emphasized the potential impact of a successful attack on these partners, which could affect over 100 million people. Anthropic will continue to support its partners in identifying, disclosing, and addressing high-risk software vulnerabilities using tools like Claude Mythos and Claude Security. The company also plans to gradually extend Mythos-level cybersecurity capabilities to additional organizations.
