Anthony Pompliano, CEO of Bitcoin treasury firm ProCap, has predicted that Bitcoin's price could soar to $1 million due to the ongoing depreciation of the U.S. dollar. Speaking on CNBC, Pompliano highlighted that the U.S. government's persistent money printing and expanding fiscal expenditures are key factors driving this potential surge. He noted that while the Trump administration attempted to reduce spending, the national debt is nearing $40 trillion.
Pompliano pointed out that the Federal Reserve's balance sheet has grown to approximately $6.3 trillion, with the M2 money supply reaching a record $22.7 trillion. He emphasized that in this environment, non-productive assets like gold and Bitcoin have consistently outperformed the stock market. Despite his bullish outlook, Pompliano admitted that while Bitcoin's price trajectory is clear, the timing of it reaching $1 million remains uncertain.
