Anchorage Digital Bank has been appointed as a custodian for USDe, joining Copper and Ceffu, according to Ethena Labs. As the first U.S. federally licensed crypto-native bank, Anchorage will begin providing monthly public custody proofs from January 2026. This initiative includes the activation of two Ethereum-based segregated wallets for reserves, which will be part of weekly reserve proofs. The custody solution will be integrated into USDe's minting and burning smart contracts, facilitating on-demand redemptions. This development is part of broader efforts to enhance liquidity and support crypto markets while aligning with Countering the Financing of Terrorism initiatives.
