Anchorage Digital, the first federally chartered digital asset bank in the United States, has acquired B2B payments platform Routable for an undisclosed amount. Routable provides developer-first APIs that enable businesses to onboard payees, automate tax and compliance processes, and execute batch payments in both fiat and stablecoins across more than 220 countries.
The acquisition aims to broaden Anchorage Digital's client base beyond crypto-native firms to include traditional financial institutions, large tech companies, and Fortune 500 enterprises with significant payment needs. Routable will operate under a new brand, with stablecoin and tokenized deposit products scheduled to launch in the coming quarters.
