American Bitcoin (ABTC) is set to enhance its Bitcoin mining operations by acquiring 11,298 new ASIC machines, boosting its total capacity by 12%. This expansion will add 3.05 exahash per second (EH/s) to its owned capacity, with deployment scheduled for March 2026 at the Drumheller site in Alberta, Canada. The new equipment will operate at an efficiency of approximately 13.5 joules per terahash (J/TH), improving upon the current fleet's average of 16 J/TH. Co-founder Eric Trump emphasized the importance of growing American-owned hashrate to protect the network and drive innovation. Following this acquisition, ABTC's fleet will increase to 89,242 miners, representing about 28.1 EH/s of total capacity. The company aims to maximize Bitcoin accumulation, having grown its holdings to over 6,000 BTC. Despite a net loss of $59.45 million in Q4 2025, ABTC reported increased revenue of $78.3 million, up from $64.2 million the previous year.
