Alibaba Cloud's Qwen team has announced plans to open-source its large-scale AI model, Qwen3.8, which boasts 2.4 trillion parameters. The model is said to rival leading AI technologies, with its self-assessment placing it just behind Fable 5. A preview version, Qwen3.8-Max-Preview, is currently available on platforms such as Alibaba Token Plan, Qoder, and QoderWork, enabling developers to test and utilize the model ahead of its full release.
