Alibaba Group CEO Eddie Wu has been named to TIME magazine’s TIME100 AI 2026 list in the “Leaders” category, recognizing his role in positioning Alibaba as a global leader in open-source artificial intelligence. Wu was also featured at the center of the magazine’s cover alongside Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Sam Altman as one of the issue’s focal figures. The list also included ByteDance’s Liang Rubo, SMIC’s Liang Mong-song and Moonshot AI’s Yang Zhilin across subcategories including Leaders and Innovators, according to the report.
