Kazakhstan's Alatau City Administration signed six cooperation agreements during the "Alatau City China Roadshow" in Hong Kong, aimed at boosting economic and technological collaboration. Key agreements include a partnership with ANT Digital Technologies, a subsidiary of Ant Group, to develop digital infrastructure and fintech solutions. Additionally, the Solana Foundation will collaborate on Web3 ecosystem development and blockchain talent cultivation. An MOU with Dasco Capital and Templewater was also signed to establish a private equity fund targeting investments in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, with Alatau City as a priority. The roadshow, attended by Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev, also facilitated discussions with major Hong Kong firms like Henderson Land Development and Sun Hung Kai Properties. Alatau City, a new economic hub under President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's directive, aims to leverage Hong Kong's investor protection and regulatory standards.
