Paris-based AI voice startup Gradium has successfully closed a $100 million seed funding round, with notable participation from Nvidia. The company, which emerged from stealth mode last December, initially raised $70 million from investors including FirstMark Capital, Eurazeo, DST Global Partners, Eric Schmidt, and French telecom magnate Xavier Niel. Gradium, co-founded by Neil Zeghidour, a former researcher at Google Brain, DeepMind, and Facebook, specializes in ultra-low-latency voice AI models.
The fresh capital will be used to establish a new office in the Bay Area, aiming to attract top AI talent. Gradium has already secured clients such as French automaker Renault, positioning itself as a competitive player in the AI voice technology sector.
