For the first time, network requests from artificial intelligence and automated programs have exceeded those from human users. According to data from a leading internet hosting service provider, 57.4% of web access requests to its hosted websites are now generated by AI and machines, compared to 42.6% from humans. This marks a significant milestone in internet history, highlighting the growing influence of automated technologies online.
