AI agent startup Ema has completed a $77 million Series B funding round led by Creaegis, with additional participation from existing investors Accel, Section 32, and Prosus. The company’s total funding now stands at $140 million, with its valuation more than doubling since its previous round in 2024. Founded in 2023 by former Google and Coinbase executive Surojit Chatterjee and former Okta executive Souvik Sen, Ema develops "AI employees" capable of coordinating multiple AI agents to execute multi-step business processes within existing enterprise applications. The new capital will primarily fund market expansion as the company shifts focus beyond product research and development.
