A recent study by h2c indicates that 57% of hotel chains in the Middle East and Africa have integrated AI features, significantly exceeding the global average of 35%. This adoption rate also surpasses Europe and the Americas, which stand at 30%. Despite a high confidence level in AI capabilities, rated at 7.1 out of 10, 47% of these chains encounter challenges with data silos, affecting real-time analytics. The report underscores Africa's potential to become a leading hub for AI innovation in the hospitality sector.
