This appointment aims to continue the organizational progress driven by Tomasz over the past year. Aergoettinea expressed gratitude for Tomasz's contributions to the foundation and the network. With years of experience in management roles at the foundation, Aergoettinea has collaborated with key figures such as Hsiao-Wei, Tomasz, Josh Stark, Danny Ryan, Aya, and Vitalik Buterin. Their responsibilities have included budget management, strategic planning, prioritization, and decision-making support. Aergoettinea emphasized that future decisions will adhere to Ethereum's core principles of censorship resistance, open-source development, privacy, and security. The foundation's mission remains focused on promoting permissionless infrastructure and ensuring Ethereum's long-term stability in collaboration with the broader community.
