Two Abu Dhabi-based funds have disclosed holdings exceeding $1 billion in BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF as of the end of last year, according to regulatory filings submitted on Tuesday. Mubadala Investment Company, a sovereign wealth fund, reported owning 12,702,323 shares of the BlackRock fund (ticker: IBIT), valued at approximately $631 million. Additionally, Al Warda Investments, a government-affiliated investment entity, reported holding 8,218,712 shares worth $408 million, as per two separate 13F filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
