Aave V4 has launched an Equities Hub on Base, enabling eligible non-US users to use seven Coinbase-issued tokenized US stocks as collateral to borrow USDC. The supported assets include Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla, marking the first time tokenized equities have been integrated as collateral within Aave’s lending markets rather than solely for holding or trading. The market utilizes Aave’s Hub and Spoke architecture to pool all seven stock collaterals into a single USDC liquidity pool while maintaining independent risk parameters to isolate individual asset risks. Chainlink provides on-chain price feeds for the tokenized stocks, with initial caps set at $29 million for total collateral, $32 million for USDC supply, and $21 million for borrowing. Collateral ratios range from 65% to 79%, with plans to potentially add more tokenized stocks and GHO as a borrowable asset pending governance approval.
