Aave DAO has released an ARFC proposal titled "Focussing the Aave V3 Multichain Strategy – Phase 1," initiated by ACI. The proposal aims to streamline Aave V3's multichain deployments by freezing instances on zkSync, Metis, and Soneium networks. This decision is based on the low usage, TVL, and revenue contribution of these deployments, which continue to consume governance and operational resources while posing risk exposure.
Additionally, the proposal stipulates that any future Aave V3 deployments must ensure a minimum annual revenue commitment of $2 million from the target chain. This requirement is intended to align the costs, risks, and benefits of new deployments.
