Ostium, a perpetual contract decentralized exchange on Arbitrum, will resume trading on July 23 at 10:00 a.m. ET. The platform will initially enable only position-closing, margin top-ups, and order modifications or cancellations, with new position openings to follow once pending orders are executed. All open positions and pending orders will be preserved and re-marked at real-time market prices upon resumption. The protocol has suspended new OLP liquidity deposits, with existing LP withdrawals to be processed in the next settlement cycle. Ostium has cautioned users against scam accounts impersonating the official team, emphasizing that it will never request private keys or seed phrases. This restart follows a reported attack last week that resulted in losses of approximately $18 million.
