Key Bitcoin investors, known as whales, have increased their holdings, now controlling 68.17% of the total Bitcoin supply, according to a Santiment report. This marks a rise from 68.07% just a week ago. Santiment views this accumulation as a "positive reversal" and is monitoring retail selling to identify a potential market bottom.
Bitcoin has also shown unusual strength compared to the S&P 500 amid ongoing geopolitical tensions. While the S&P 500 has declined by 2.2% over the past five weeks, Bitcoin has risen by 2.4%, and gold has increased by 3.7%.
