The company will stop issuing new tokens and plans to end redemption support one year from the announcement date. Tether cited changes in market conditions, low product demand, and insufficient community usage as reasons for the decision, stating that the scale of CNH₮ usage does not justify the ongoing operational costs. Redemptions will continue to be processed according to terms until the cutoff date, and users are advised to redeem their holdings promptly.
