Ethereum's staking demand has reached unprecedented levels, with 3,330,385 ETH currently queued to join the Ethereum Proof-of-Stake (PoS) network, according to validatorqueue data. This marks a new record high, valued at approximately $9.67 billion. The surge in staking interest has been ongoing since December 26, 2025, with an estimated activation delay of 57 days and 20 hours.
The increased demand is largely driven by Ethereum treasury companies and institutions like BitMine, which have recently staked significant portions of their ETH holdings. In contrast, the exit queue for ETH leaving the PoS network remains minimal, with only 832 ETH, valued at about $2.417 million, and an average exit time of 21 minutes.
