This release will account for 2.66% of the circulating supply. The unlock is scheduled for 15:30 Beijing time, as reported by Tokenomist. In a related development, the team recently unstaked 2.6 million HYPE tokens, valued at approximately $85.8 million. Although unstaking does not equate to selling, the move has sparked market concerns, leading to signs of panic and bearish sentiment among investors. The official Medium post indicates that core contributor tokens are locked for one year post-TGE, with most vesting expected to conclude between 2027 and 2028.
